"[IDEA] Pokémon Go Photo Contest for TCG Prints!"

#PokemonGO: I feel like there is potential for both Niantic and The Pokémon Company (currently responsible for the trading card game,) in holding an AR screenshot contest where the winners have their photos printed on cards. I know that in 1999 two contests of this type were held for the game Pokémon Snap (N64). Pokémon Go has so much potential with AR enabled for stunning photos of Pokemon in real life settings; I could personally see some of the creative screenshots posted to this sub winning the contest to be on cards some day. Perhaps the heyday of the trading card game has passed but this game has drawn in the nostalgic crowd from the early years of Pokémon and I can see a screenshot contest attracting a lot of players. Not to go on for too long but this is truly a groundbreaking game just about to hit the one-year mark. You can have shots with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background or at the Eiffel Tower...Who knows, but would anyone else like to see this come to fruition? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2rbadg8
