"Softban for traveling too fast (concrete numbers inside)"

#PokemonGO: I just got soft banned for the first time in the past 2 years playing this game. Pokestop spins don't work, each pokemon runs away at the first ball, and I can't put pokemon in gyms.This is what my journal looks like: https://ift.tt/2M04N4y My Uber pulled away from the Airport, at that time I caught a Growlithe. I started an encounter with a Paras on the Uber at this time but I got distracted by messages I didn't catch it until later. The app remained in the background.7:14pm: Uber exited the highway around 25 miles away near my house. I started playing again since the speed is now slow enough for encounters and pokestop spins. I catch the Paras from the airport.7:15pm+: Every pokemon run away and pokestops stop working.It seems like I got softbanned because either:1) I traveled over 70mph across a relatively short distance.2) I finished an encounter I started 25 miles away.Or a combination of both.Does anyone else have experience with soft bans? Do you have numbers to share? Of course, I would like to avoid this happening again.
