"[Discussion] 10k eggs becoming more of a chore than a rewarding experience"

#PokemonGO: I have hatched fifteen 10 kilometer eggs this week, and received 6 mareep, 5 trapinch, 3 drifloon (like come on, a Drifloon in a 10k?) and a dratini, all of which were non shiny, and less than 90% for the IV rating. It’s almost to the point where I’m only going for 7 km eggs for the shiny babies, and even that doesn’t feel worth the effort due to the ABYSMAL rate, for both Shinies and High (90%+) IV ratings. I’m transferring everything I hatch from an egg immediately at this point unless it’s a shiny, or better than the last Mareep I hatched. Its evident that super and regular Egg Incubators are Niantics’ biggest cash grab, so it seems that they would at least incentivize the incubators more with a better yield from the highest tier of egg. I’ve seen dozens of threads on this in the last YEAR of this game, and it’s a little mind boggling that we haven’t gotten an update or explanation as to why it has not or will not happen. I believe that 2K and 5K are as rewarding as they should be, helping you get some of the rarer spawns, or even more starter candy for future CD events, or even just getting that good IV Croagunk or what have you. Hatching eggs is the endgame part of the game, and Niantic makes a lot of money off of this, but if we are being disappointed 9/10 times We hatch the “best” egg in the game, We’re much less incentivized to spend any money or time on this aspect. Hoping for even a minor tweak to the rates for 10k, or even the removal of CD Pokémon once their day has passed and put into 7k eggs. I never want to see a Mareep or Trapinch again via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2HmqREK
