"I hate how legendary are treated now."
I don't want to be that be that guy, but i'd really hate how legendary pokemon treated now, compare to the old days.these are uber powerful pokemon, in lore and in game, some of them are so strong they break the meta that it has to be it's own tier.yet almost every single legendary from gen 4 onward is basically treated as a participation ribbon for having the ability to pay attention, never once dare the player to do anything on their own, and even when they did is not even technically the hardest thing in the world.to me a legendary pokemon should be like hunting the most the ultima weapon's in a RPG, most of the time a completely optional quest that never intefere with the main quest and is one of the hardest things to do in the game, similar to mewtwo and the trio birds in the red and blue days, their cool because the only way to actually find even info about them without a friend or internet is only in usually told in cryptic info which the player has to decipher, making the journey as rewarding as the reward itself.(there's also the regi-trio which is a whole can of worms of itself)and I don't care if pokemon is a kids game and it be too challenging for them, this is still an adventure game just like legend of zelda, just like dragon quest, not sesame street. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2MylzaK
