"PSA - leave PoGo out of your nominations"

#PokemonGO: Greetings comrades! I'm writing this to help keep many of you from squandering your limited pokéstop nominations with rookie mistakes. With the worldwide release, there is definitely 2 major themes I keep seeing.PoGo is not relevant for your nomination, so leave it out!To preface, I've been on Wayfarer since it was OPR, after playing Ingress for the sake of making pokéstops. I've been actively reading Ingress community forums and related subreddits. I have a good idea of little things that will kill your nomination and I'm trying to save you from yourself.Descriptions are to be about the CANDIDATE. Why is it important? Why does it qualify as a POI? This is absolutely NOT the place to discuss your desire for gyms, needing this or that for EX raids, wanting more pokéstops, etc.We already KNOW you want stops or you wouldn't be nominating. These descriptions will bring your review rating DOWN, possibly to the point of overall rejection. PoGo is not Niantic's only game, and the POI network is aiming for quality, not just volume. So make those candidates looks as pretty as you can to get them approved!Duplicates are rampantEver think, "How is THIS not a pokéstop?!?!?!?" Odds are it IS a portal, but another POI is already a stop in the same s2 cell. Not every POI makes it into PoGo. Your candidate is very likely already a POI or too close (<20 meters) from another one. You REALLY should be using Ingress Intel to avoid wasting nominations. It's not that hard and you don't even have to play past making your account (it is fun though).How to check s2 cells yourself1 - Install Ingress and create an account.2 - Install IITC, a browser for the ingress Intel map. You can also use intel.ingress.com on a regular browser if you have your own other way of checking s2 cells.3 - Download an s2 cell plugin such as https://raw.githubusercontent.com/blsmit5728/level14and17S2IITC/master/level14and17cells.user.js to display s2 cells. I prefer this one because the larger cells outlined in black are used to determine gym count4 - If needed, use the layers settings to only show portals, because there will be much information that is useless outside of Ingress otherwise.PoGo only adds 1 stop or gym within each s2 cell of size 17.
