"What if Ash becomes the “Brock” for the next protagonist"

Ash would still want to get stronger and see the world so heads to Paldea where he runs into someone starting their Pokémon journey and we follow that new protagonist with ash accompanying.We followed Goh, Dawn and May on their quests so it’s been done before, kinda. Ash would only bring Pikachu and may catch a paldean mon or two, like how Brock left onyx and geodude in pewter but caught mudkip, bonsly etc…Maybe he’ll bring Mimey and mimey can cook, bc I don’t trust ash to lolBut this is my guess as to what’s next for the franchise, not ditching Ash but nudging him slightly to the side to help herald in the new generation via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/Xy5JtnZ
