"Why hasn’t Nintendo ported or released remastered editions of old Pokémon games to the switch?"

I missed out on playing some Pokémon games growing up. I played Red, missed out on all the games until Leafgreen iirc, played diamond, then finally got back in with Sword.It would be so cool to play the ones I missed out on w/o having to buy old consoles, old cartridges, etc. I can’t imagine it’d be such a difficult thing to do based purely on how small and simple the games were in comparison to some remastered triple-A games of the past 20 years getting rereleased.They’d make so much money too.
