"It's so obvious but my favourite thing about pokemon is how everyone has their favourites and there is always a reason for it."

When people post drawings of their favourite 6 and one of them is a cacturne or something, why? What story is there to build that connection with such a niche Pokemon? its always something about them using it for the first time but they choose it themselves and that builds a connection to that Pokemon.Even the popular Pokemon like Lucario, 10-year-old me watching the movie was in awe, I want that Pokemon and get a random egg from Riley, 10-year-old me trying to figure out how this weakling hatched instead of Lucario, it builds moments that solely belong to you.Your first starter, no one decides what your starter is gonna be, YOU do, it's completely your choice and that will build a connection, people who pick Bulbasaur will swear by it, same with the other 2.It's probably obvious but I think it's really cool and unique to Pokemon, not many franchises allow you to build those sorta connections like that. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/SVybuqW
