I didn't realize this about the circle size; I don't think it's well known.Edit: trying this out on wild spawns myself, it works some of the time? I'm not sure why it doesn't work every time. Can other people confirm whether or not it works for them?Edit 2: based on a report from /u/Garchumpy, it may only work when you resume touching the ball while the Pokemon is in its attack animation. So it'll work as intended, but not if you're just picking up and letting go of the ball normally.
