"Name one positive and one negative point for every Pokémon game you've played!"

Every Pokémon game likely did something that really stuck out in your mind as being a great feature or addition, but at the same time there's likely something that held it back from being 100% perfect for you.So, give one positive point and one negative point for every Pokémon game you've played! For me, it goes like this:Diamond. For the positive, I think Sinnoh was a great, expansive region with lots to explore. For the negative, there was a lack of certain types like fire and the HMs could get a bit over the top.Platinum. This was pretty much the same as Diamond, but I really liked the expanded Pokédex that added more variance to the world. On the downside, I feel like more could have been done with the Distortion World, which was fancy for the time it came out, but left a lot to be desired.HeartGold. This was my first experience with Johto and Kanto and I loved it. For the positive, I think the game had some of the most difficult battles, like Whitney early on, and Lance/Red in the late game.White. This game definitely had my favourite Pokémon story. It was the only one that I felt properly engaged in and the finale... oh man, it's up there with one my all time favourite gaming moments. On the downside, I feel the level jump from main game to post game was too much, and should have had a more gradual increase.White 2. A great sequel/expansion to an already great game. The new additions like Pokéstar Studios and the PWT were awesome and added so many hours of gameplay. For a downside, I would say that the story was certainly weaker than the last game, but other than that I find this one hard to fault.X. Unfortunately this one is my least favourite, but I still enjoyed it. I think the main positive has to be the move to 3D. Despite some performance issues, it was still awesome being able to see my favourite Pokémon in three dimensions and even interact with them using Pokémon Amie. However, I found this to be, by far, the easiest Pokémon game. I can't remember any challenging battles whatsoever. Key battles were well-presented but lacked the proper gameplay to make them feel truly awesome.Alpha Sapphire. My first time in Hoenn, so I had no idea what to expect. It was much more of a solid game than X in my opinion, and there was a good amount of challenge, especially with the Steven. But for the downside, I found a lot of the characters fairly forgettable besides Wally, and I didn't feel like there was much to go back for once I had beaten the game.Sun. This is the one that I have the most conflicted thoughts on. Like X, I feel a lot of the battles were presented really well, but once again the majority of them lacked any challenge (besides the league, which was very enjoyable). But for a positive, I really liked the addition of ride Pokémon and the Pokémon Refresh, which took Amie and streamlined it to make it less tedious. I also feel like this game had a more unique soundtrack that was very nice to listen to.How about you guys? I'm really looking forward to seeing what people think of the games they've played over the years. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2xmnirS
